Lucy trained at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2015. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
What influenced you to become an osteopath?
I have wanted to become an osteopath since I was about 14. What first started my interest was seeing how osteopathy helped my mum recover from lower back pain. From then on, I knew which career I wanted to follow.
When did you join the team?
I first joined NBO in April 2017.
What do you enjoy most about your role at North Beds Osteopaths?
I enjoy working with a team of great practitioners and support staff in a calm, positive and supportive environment. Helping people out of pain is very rewarding, I really enjoy making a difference and helping people on their journey back to health.
What specialist areas of practice are you particularly interested in?
I enjoy treating all patients and have a special interest in neck, TMJ (jaw) and shoulder problems. I am trained in dry needling and Kinesio taping and can use these when needed alongside osteopathic treatment.
How do you like to spend your spare time?
Spending time with family and friends is very important to me. Being an osteopath, I am passionate about health and like to keep active. I enjoy sport, running and walking my husky who needs a lot of exercise! I like to travel and experience new places, foods and cultures and have many destinations that I would love to explore in the future.
