Emer trained for 4 years at the British School of Osteopathy, qualifying in 2012. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
What influenced you to become an osteopath?
I was inspired to study osteopathy after having treatment with a wonderful osteopath in Dublin. At the time I was practicing reflexology and had trained as a yoga teacher, and osteopathy felt like the “next step”. I found studying osteopathy fascinating from the first few sessions.
When did you join the team?
I joined North Beds Osteopaths in October 2025
What do you enjoy most about your role at North Beds Osteopaths?
I really enjoy helping people learn about their health and their bodies. Bringing clarity to each person’s situation and health concerns and educating my patients on how to support their own well-being is very rewarding. I also love how hands-on treatment can make such a powerful difference to people’s lives.
What specialist areas of practice are you particularly interested in?
I enjoy treating adults and children with a wide variety of problems. I find exploring each patient’s case very interesting, and then working together to achieve the best outcome is most rewarding. I have a special interest in all stages of women’s health and find post-partum and pregnancy especially interesting.
How do you like to spend your spare time?
I spend my spare time doing yoga and more recently I have also enjoyed dance workshops. I also like to read and enjoy walking outdoors.
