Gillian Wright

Why did you decide to come and work here?

I was looking for a new receptionist role and wanted to learn more about osteopathy. I’m very much a people person and enjoy working with the public, so this role suited me perfectly.

When did you join the team?

I joined the practice in May 2010.

What do you enjoy most about your role at North Beds Osteopaths?

It’s very satisfying to see a patient making progress from their treatments with the osteopaths and other practitioners here.

In what ways do you most help the patients who attend the practice?

My role here is varied, from greeting and chatting to patients, to making them a cup of tea or coffee if they arrive early – I’ve a very friendly nature and always have a smile for everyone. I’ll always try and answer as many questions regarding our services as I can, and am as helpful and flexible as possible when it comes to appointments.

How do you like to spend your spare time?

I have two large dogs that need plenty of exercise, so lots of walking keeps me fit as well as the gym. I also like a good book to read to help me relax. I’m quite a sociable person and so love it when I can get together with family or friends.
