Jake trained for 4 years at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, qualifying in 2026. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
What influenced you to become an osteopath?
At school, biology was one of my favourite subjects, and I was always interested in learning how the human body works. As I explored different careers in healthcare, osteopathy stood out because it combined my interest in the human body with the opportunity to work closely with people and make a real difference to their lives.
As I’ve progressed through my training, I’ve developed a real appreciation for the role that movement and rehabilitation can play in recovery. I enjoy helping patients understand what’s causing their pain, making sense of it together, and supporting them in getting back to doing the things they enjoy most.
When did you join the team?
I joined North Beds Osteopaths in July 2026.
What do you enjoy most about your role at North Beds Osteopaths?
The best part of being an osteopath is building relationships with people. I enjoy listening to each patient’s story, understanding what matters most to them, and working together to help them achieve their goals. Whether that’s returning to sport, playing with grandchildren or simply moving more comfortably, it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey.
I believe the best results come from working together. My aim is for every patient to feel listened to, understood and confident in their treatment plan. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a long-standing problem or simply looking to move better, I’ll always take the time to understand what’s important to you and support you in reaching your goals.
What specialist areas of practice are you particularly interested in?
Although I’m still developing my clinical interests, I enjoy treating people with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. What I find most rewarding is helping patients understand their condition, build confidence in their movement, and get back to doing the things that matter most to them.
How do you like to spend your spare time?
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy keeping active, whether that’s strength training, running, getting out for a walk or trying a new sport. I also enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, and I’m always keen to learn something new.
